As well as the suit, Ben also designed a shirt, and both were ready for collection within the timescale he quoted and pleasantly cheaper than I had been expecting.

When it came to looking at wedding suits I had a very specific Mod style cut, the problem was that we needed 4 matching suits for 4 very different body shapes, I'm 6 ft average build, my dad is 5 10 and just over average, the Father in law is over 6 4 and the best man has a waist of maybe 28 inches!

We tried the shops in Brighton for mod style suits but soon realised that there was no way to get something off the peg that would fit/suit us all.

We then tried tailors in Brighton/London/surrounding Hampshire area that we had heard of and got quoted £600+ a suit starting price and some of the most stuck up snooty attitudes I ever encountered!

The stepfather found Ben's website on the internet and we had a quick phone discussion about requirements and to be honest this was the last tailor we were going to try before giving up and going for generic hire suits. When we came in for our initial consultation the difference was clear, Ben was laid back and charismatic - not only that he had 5 or 6 different magazine/style articles that he had found on mod suits to go start with. We agreed on some compromises that would make the suits suit us all but every decision was left to us.

The suits turned out brilliant and the tiny details that Ben suggested made them perfect and on the wedding day I was in danger of outshining the bride!

Service couldn't have been better and if you really do get what you pay for we should of got a lot less! ..."
